Students Attend Leadership Conference at Kikino

On Wednesday, November 26, some student delegates and staff had a chance to learn about the leadership program in place at Kikino school. The school runs a leadership program for students from grades 3-12 where those who are eligible take roles of responsibility helping out at the school. The program is meant to instill a sense of pride and positive self worth. It also gives children in the school an opportunity to act as positive role models. Staff at the school help to guide and teach these individuals so they know best how to demonstrate what they have learned.

It is our hope in the future to run a program something similar to this so that our students will have those same opportunities. Students and staff agreed that it was a great day.
