Amanda Twidale's grade 4 classroom has been transformed into a flexible seating arrangement at Elizabeth School. The flexible seating arrangement gives students choice and responsibility of their work space. This is done by creating work spaces that both provide students a comfortable place to work but also the freedom to choose where they want to learn. The flexible seating concept is an example of what our educators learn and bring back to the school while participating in professional development opportunities. It also supports Northland School Division's Policy 19 - Welcoming, Caring, Respectful, Safe and Healthy Learning and Working Environments.
